To mark the launch of the website, the curators have re-conceived the Palandjian School, one of the signi cant art spaces that contributed to Beirut’s artistic landscape during the speci ed period, as a time shuttle where they will accompany the visitors on an immersive, multi-media journey back in time to what is usually referred to as Beirut’s Golden Age.
There, they will introduce the various components of the website, and present the findings of their research, not as a close-ended conclusion on a period that awaits further investigation, but rather as a fluid tool for artists, curators, and students and scholars of modernism in Lebanon and beyond.
